Black Black Wood, place of meeting of the father and the son. Some rules cannot be broken, they already are in force for thousands of years.

"Jozef Fruček asked me if the show that I wanted to produce, should enjoy a success in Prague, or it should infringe limits of the contemporary performing arts in general. Guess, what was my answer." – Rostislav Novák Jr.

The rules of the black black woods: From 6.30 to 9.00 pm, the audience is encouraged to take a break whenever needed, whether for refreshment or bathroom errands. The door to the theatre will be shut at 9.00 pm and no one will be allowed to enter the hall, because the performers need to focus. Thank you for respecting these rules and for your understanding.

"The official part of the performance makes both protagonists move, suddenly a physical theatre is in place. What had been created for hours, can be destroyed in minutes. The same with the relationship, the son first builds a throne for the father, but ridicules him immediatel. Pattering of clay bricks, flowing water, dust from the destroyed stage. The materials used illustrate earthiness, refer to the roots, to the overwhelming certainty of archetypes."
