Building on previous years, we are proud to announce that we have fully immersed ourselves in the creative process. In our training halls, something completely extraordinary is currently taking shape. Cirk La Putyka and Jatka78 are working intensively on a groundbreaking collaboration with British choreographer, director, and storyteller Akram Khan, one of the most significant figures in contemporary dance and theatre.
Pinokio. An original interpretation of the world-famous story through the eyes of director Akram Khan.
This unique collaboration between master storyteller Akram, artistic director Rostislav Novák Jr., and the creative team of Cirk La Putyka blurs the lines between contemporary dance, new circus, and physical theater.
This intergenerational performance searches for the key to human identity:
What does it mean to be human?
Who will I become when I cut the strings that guide me?
Will I find freedom, or will I lose my way?
Advance ticket sales will begin in autumn 2026, with the premiere taking place on 20 October 2027.
